Dumisani Gumbi
Cape Regional Director of IsacaDumisani Gumbi has been working as an ICT assurance professional for 18 years, specialising in IT Governance, Information Governance, Data Privacy and IT Compliance. He is currently the IT Governance and Compliance Manager for a large listed South African Insurer and sits on the Boards of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and ISACA’s South Africa Chapter. As a leader in the IT industry, Gumbi is passionate about ‘paying it forward’ and mentoring the next generation of leaders. His qualifications include a BSC Computer Science Diploma (CTI), an LLB Degree (UWC), and an LLM Degree from the University of Cape Town (UCT) with a focus on cybercrimes and cyberlaw. He also holds various Compliance and ICT industry certifications (COBIT& CGEIT) and is a firm believer in lifelong learning. His passion lies in the areas of legal technological research, executive leadership development and student mentorship.
